I was just working on my Bible study homework. We're studying "Acts and the Epistles" this year, and this week we're in 1 Thessalonians. I was so struck by this verse (NIV) that I had to share it right away:
"We continually remember before our God and Father . . .
your work produced by faith . . .
your labor prompted by love . . .
and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ."
Faithful work, loving labor, and hopeful endurance: how I would love to be characterized by such things. What noble pursuits.
